By placing electrodes on the scalp, we capture the electrical impulses that paint a picture of mental performance. Frequencies range from Gamma (>30Hz) to Delta (<4Hz), each playing a unique role. For instance, 13Hz frequency, nestled between high alpha and low beta, is crucial for 'active' intelligence.Deficiencies in this band can impact abilities like sequencing tasks and math calculations, often seen in learning disabilities and attention challenges.Visit our website to learn more!https://nhahealth.com/#Brainwaves#EEG#Neuroscience#MentalPerformance

June is Men's Health Month.Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it’s time we start treating it that way.Unfortunately, there's still a stigma surrounding men's mental health, making it harder for men and boys to seek the help they need. Many feel pressured to hide their emotions and "man up," thinking they need to be strong for others. Acknowledging a mental health condition is often wrongly seen as a sign of weakness or a lack of masculinity.Mental health conditions are not signs of personal weakness—they are health issues, just like any other. You wouldn’t hesitate to see a doctor for a broken arm, and seeing a therapist for mental health is no different. This month, let's break the stigma and open up conversations about men's mental health. It's important to talk about our struggles, seek help, and support one another.

Neuroscience research has clearly demonstrated that ADD/ADHD is a brain related issue, not merely a problem with “not trying hard enough.” The frontal lobes are most often related to symptoms of ADD and the ADD brain tends to produce too much slow frequency, though not all individuals with ADD have the same exact pattern.Brain mapping and testing can illustrate what neural networks are not working as well as they should. Various approaches can then be implemented specifically to strengthen the patient’s brain weaknesses!

Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback that involves real-time monitoring of brain activity, through sensors placed on the scalp, to provide individuals with information about their brainwave patterns.By observing this feedback, individuals can learn to self-regulate their brain activity, often with the goal of improving cognitive function, emotional regulation, or addressing various neurological conditions such as ADHD or anxiety. Through repeated sessions, users can train their brains to produce desired patterns of activity, leading to potential improvements in attention, relaxation, and overall well-being.Feel free to message me to learn more!
