I’m home.
Got back late yesterday.

Done lots of sleeping since then.
Tylenol and some sort of heavy-hitter antibiotic that has a flushing effect on my colon.

I am starting to feel better, and as long as I don’t start pissing blood, I should be on the mend.

Did they give you fluids?

I know I am not cut out for working outdoors in the heat anymore.

I can remember some profound moments where I hit a wall while doing so.

They didn’t give me any fluids, but I was instructed to start tanking up on water and Gatorade.

I’ve had trouble getting ahead of the hydration curve because I’ve been sleeping so much.
I still have a ways to go there.

it's the camera, they aren't really that bent over. 0.5 zoom really fish eyes everything.

the yard is kicking this year.

actual lean.

the trail cam is for the section of yard we fenced off with chicken wire so noelle doesn't invade and eat the nest where the dumb bunny decided to give birth. we keep tabs on mommy dumb bunny overnight and see what else wonders through.

the new fountain is a big hit with the birds. a robin baths every day around 6 or 7pm and will bitch at you to leave if you're on the patio at that time. my reply is usually "f*ck off bird, you had all day."

again, a bit of birdseye going on here.

Fitting for where i am this Canada Day

Early evening yesterday and we're sitting on the deck having a beverage and relaxing after gardening and outdoor stuff. This little guy shows up and slowly walks right over to us and gives us the questioning look. Bold as brass and not afraid at all. I think he was hoping for food but we didn't give him any.

Was at Lakefront Promenade Park, Port Credit.

Decided the brave the elements (103° heat) of west Texas while getting a grip on this kidney infection thang.
The antibiotics are almost as bad as the disease.
The rash I was warned of is happening - all over.
Even my lips are lit up like a sunburn.

(I know @SteveC will love the shoes)

Oh well, I got things to do while I’m off work.

At Discount Tire, getting 5 new skins mounted up for the roller skate.
Signed the paperwork this morning, handed over the cash, and it’s mine.

Got new OEM taillights to replace the hail-damaged ones, and the swap looks super simple.
Got lug nuts to replace the stupid-ass lockers, and a replacement cap for the washer fluid reservoir.

It’s all falling into place.

At least the car matches your rash....
